In this personal endeavour, I embarked on a journey to craft a sensual and visually appealing video narrative, bringing to life one of my favourite poems by Marcel Proust. Inspired by the language of title design, I delved into its captivating textures and innovative techniques, seeking to capture the essence of the poem's existential yearnings. To weave this sensual tale, I harnessed the power of video footage, utilizing its dynamic nature and adding further effects to create a tapestry of rich, textural movement. Along the way, I couldn't resist exploring the fascinating world of AI techniques for video generation by playing with the remarkable capabilities of EbSynth and Gen 2. This project explores diverse techniques, twined together, to unveil a captivating visual style that tells an inspiring tale of love and ardour.

Behind the scenes

Using a self-video and a combination of Particle effects plus Photoshop brush texture all revealed through the motion of ink video.

A hint of a person's eye as a window to the imagination of a person.

I have created a unique image by combining an ocean wave with an AI-generated image. The ocean wave symbolizes a way of life, while the person in the distance represents a traveller.

Adobe stock video

To achieve this look, a frame was created in Photoshop using various brushes. Afterwards, it was applied in EbSynth for a reference frame.

I created two angelic images during my journey and incorporated footage of the ocean along with particle effects to construct this scene.

I was trying to find a way to understand and define spiritual awakening and mysticism.

In this scene, i generated images from Mid Jurney and stylised them in Photoshop

I then used EbSynt and a reference video to apply the movement to the style.
Conceptually I am referring here to Michelangelo and his passion for Beuty.

Here i used rich textures and then created masks and used fractal effects to create the background movement

This video was generated in Gen 2. I wanted to bring  the eyes back as I have used them as a medium throughout the video

Finally, i used EbSynth again to translate the image style to the movement of the dancer.

Last but not least this was the moldboard and some of the inspirations that I had behind. The colour palette was generated using the golden rule of 3rd drawing from primary colours.
