On Environment
Consumerism is a relentless cycle of desire that never truly satisfies. Our society is built on the pursuit of material wealth as the ultimate goal. This illustration reflects my thoughts, inspired by Noam Chomsky's critique of the corporate-driven world we inhabit. His powerful words challenge me to reflect on my contributions to society. In this image, the Earth is symbolized as being devoured by our insatiable greed, while a strap constricts us, suffocating us spiritually. It’s a commentary on the perpetual conflict between our perceptions of desire and true freedom. The referenced image aligns with this exploration of environmental and societal impact.
