The portrayal of women as femme fatales through the lens of religion and societal norms has always fascinated me as a woman. These two pieces explore the theme of Eve's perceived sinful nature. The snakes symbolize her period, and the apple represents her burden. Yet, she stands gracefully, radiating joy and pride, directly challenging the narrative of sin often associated with femininity.
